Terms of Service
By using AIcon ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms:
1. Service Usage
- Credits are purchased for one-time use and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Each icon generation consumes one (1) credit
- Generated icons are cached and can be accessed indefinitely without consuming additional credits
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys
2. Acceptable Use
- You may not use the Service to generate content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- You may not use the Service to generate offensive, harmful, or illegal content
- You may not resell or redistribute generated icons as a standalone icon library
- Rate limiting and fair use policies apply to prevent abuse
3. Icon Ownership & Licensing
- Icons generated through the Service are provided for your use in your projects
- You may use generated icons in commercial and non-commercial projects
- Icons remain accessible to the account that generated them
- We reserve the right to use anonymized usage data to improve the Service
4. Refund Policy
Credits are non-refundable once purchased. If you experience technical issues preventing you from using the Service, please contact support at support@deepsouthsoftware.com
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect and use your data.
Data We Collect
- Account Information: Email address, name, and password (encrypted)
- Usage Data: Icon generation requests, API usage, and timestamps
- Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe (we do not store payment card details)
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the Service
- To process payments and manage your account
- To send service-related notifications
- To prevent fraud and ensure security
- To analyze usage patterns and improve our AI models (anonymized)
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with:
- Stripe: For payment processing
- OpenAI: Icon generation prompts (anonymized)
- Service Providers: Infrastructure and hosting services with data protection agreements
